Reseñas de Valley Of The Fallen

The fact that Valley of the Fallen is a sanctuary devoted to the rememberance of the victims of the Civil War cannot alter the fact that it is a striking piece of totalitarian art. Huge stone terraces, arcades and tunnels of the basilica are just a Spanish version of Nazi architecture of the same period. It's important to visit the place to understand the value of freedom and democracy.

Awesome architecture. You can feel the history as soon as you arrive!

A symbol of hate and intolerance, it's generally filled with fascists and neonazis visiting to honor a murderer.

Keep in mind that it's almost impossible to get there without own car or a booked trip.

Not only it was built by slaves in order to praise the founder of the Spanish Fascist Party and the dictatorship of General Franco, responsible for the execution of tens of thousands of inocent civilians after winning the Civil War he started in 1936, but is also architecturally irrelevant and ugly, destroying a beautiful natural location.

There are lots of beautiful churches and cathedrals throughout Spain. Don't lose your time going there.

An amazing memorial that's been made in the side of a mountain that has a breathtaking view of Madrid. I cannot say enough how essential it is too make the trip out here. You won't regret it!

Just remember what you are visiting was built by slaves and is commemorating a fascist government responsible for hundreds pf thousands of deaths. It is a place of worship to the Spanish dictator Francisco Franco and is now a place of cult for neonazis and fascists
